From Vision to Confidence — A Brand Story Rooted in Heart, Design, and Growth

When Jess first reached out to me about brand and web design for her business and dream, Roam & Ivy Flowers, she was standing at a turning point. She had already started her business, but the brand she was using didn’t feel like her. It didn’t reflect the heart behind her work, the vision she carried, or the level of experience she wanted her clients to have. She knew that if she was going to grow this dream — and grow it with confidence — she needed more than something that simply worked. She needed a brand and website she felt deeply connected to, one that finally matched the business she was building and the story she wanted to tell.

Before we began working together, Jess was launching her business with the intention of starting off right. She didn’t want to piece things together as she went or circle back later to fix what no longer fit. She wanted a foundation that would support her growth from the beginning.

She discovered my work through a reel on Instagram and shared that she immediately felt connected to my aesthetic and design style. That initial connection became the foundation for everything we built together.

One of the most meaningful moments of this project actually came at the very start of the process.

She told me, “I honestly loved the branding questionnaire. It made me think about different elements of my business I hadn’t thought of before.”

And that is exactly why my process begins there. Branding is not just about colors and logos. It is about uncovering your why, your voice, your values, and your vision. Through her questionnaire, Jess shared the heart of Roam & Ivy — a brand inspired by her love for romantic, whimsical, old-world floral design, deeply rooted in her personal story and her desire to create something beautiful and meaningful in the world of flowers.

When Jess saw her final brand and website for the first time, her reaction said everything.

“I was in awe.”

Since launching, her brand has not only changed how things look, but how she shows up in her business. She shared that the new brand has given her a real advantage in her industry and that a solid brand, a solid business model, and strong photography can truly make or break a new business. More importantly, she now approaches her clients with a level of confidence she simply did not have before.

“I feel like I can approach my clients this season with a sense of genuine confidence that I most definitely did not have last season.”

The feedback she has received from her audience has been exactly what she hoped for — classy, professional, and aligned with the level of experience she wants to provide.

What meant the most to me throughout this project was how Jess described our working relationship.

She said, “I realize we had a business relationship, yet I truly thought of you as a friend. You were the first one to learn about my business models, ideas, visions, and dreams. You were nothing but encouraging, and I truly don’t think I could have done it without you.”

That is always the goal. This work is not just about design. It is about walking alongside someone as they build something that matters to them.

When asked what she would say to another business owner who is on the fence about hiring a brand or web designer, her answer was simple and honest:

“Do it now. You will never regret it. The money spent will be earned back over and over again.”

And to close, she shared something I will always carry with me:

“You are a blessing to both myself and my little business.”

Projects like this are the reason I do what I do.
